IMPACT OF EMPTY PEA SHELL IN FEED ON GROWTH PERFORMANCE OF COMMON CARP (CYPRINUS CARPIO)

چکیده
The present study was intended to assess the potential of a mature empty pea shell (Pisum sativum) as feed additive common carp (Cyprinus carpio) diet. This conducted for 90 days with inclusion 15 % shells into one control without in feed. Pea used an three experimental groups (T1, T2, T3) and group. In T1 group, partially replaced fish meal, T2 group − meal de-oiled groundnut cake, T3 deoiled cake fully mustard cake. An increase average weight gain observed (11.17 ± 0.08) respect (10.89 0.11) (11.05 but lower than that (11.84 0.09; at p < 0.05). specific growth rate (SGR) significantly (1.04 0.01) (1.08 0.02; 0.05) not different (1.01 0.03) (1.03 groups. conversion ratio (FCR) comparably higher (1.07 (1.10 andT2 (1.09 (p revealed can replace plant-based protein sources (mustard cake).

Common Carp, Cyprinus carpio
The common carp (Cyprinus carpio) belongs to the family Cyprinidae. In nature, carp live in the middle or lower reaches of a river with slow currents, or in marshes. Their habitats are usually weedy areas with a muddy bottom. Carp fry feed on zooplankton such as rotifers and copepods, but as they grow up they become benthic feeders, feeding on animals and other organic material. The cyprinids h...

متن کاملThe effect of supplementation of feed with exogenous enzymes on the growth of common carp (Cyprinus carpio)
Supplementary feed exogenous enzymes have improved the growth rates of various food animals. In thisresearch, the effect of Endofeed W, a multienzyme feed supplement, was investigated on the growth of carp.Accordingly, 134 fish (33.1 ± 0.8 g) were randomly allocated to 4 experimental groups. During the first stageof the experiment (10 days), groups 1-3 received 1, 2 and 3 g Endofeed W per kg di...
